Tells the history, that the precious cachaça appeared in the colonial Brazil, when the slaves used to drink the foam of the fermented cane broth. The Sir of the sugar mill, who already knew the techniques for distilling fermented beverages, started producing cachaça soon.
Then, the most genuine national beverage appeared. It hasn’t take so long till the introduction of the cachaça into the Brazilian culture, for its flavour, and also for the pleasure it provides. It is served to celebrate, to stimulate the appetite, to warm up in cold days, to diminish the inhibition, and even to forget the sadness.
Cachaça has an humble origin, for sure. But it is a noble beverage. We had better celebrate, drink, and love it.
